Paddington Bear is the famous character featured in more than twenty books written by Michael Bond. The first Paddington bear soft toy was designed in the UK by Shirley Clarkson of Gabrielle Designs. She made it as a present for her children, Joanna and Jeremy Clarkson (of Top Gear fame).
This Paddington Bear wears his familiar duffle coat, red hat and Wellington boots. He has a label stating "Please Look After This Bear Thank You" around his neck.
