From The Steiff Archive
Margarete Steiff, the company founder, established the Steiff archive in 1880 in which at least one example of everything produced has been kept. The company has begun a long-term project to re-organise, re-locate and digitize this archive to ensure it remains a valuable resource for future generations.
The archive takes up a vast amount of space. The Bear Garden is one of nine Steiff accounts worldwide selected to be able to offer some treasures from the Steiff archive for sale.
