Unique pieces from the Steiff Archive now available!

In 1880 the Steiff Archive was established, in which at least one example of everything produced has been kept. This included limited editions, of which the numbers 1 and 12, plus the prototype, were archived.
But why number 12? The original idea was to archive numbers 1 and 2 of all limited editions, but this would have taken another single digit piece (No. 2) out of circulation, so the compromise was to archive number 12, when 1 and 2 appear together!
Steiff are re-organising and digitizing the archive to preserve it for future generations. Part of this process is to release some of the number 12s for sale.
The Bear Garden is the only Steiff account worldwide, along with the Steiff Museum, to be able to offer these treasures from the Steiff Archive for sale.
We have just launched a selection of Steiff Archive pieces centred mainly around the limited edition British Collectors Teddy Bear series! You can meet all the pieces here. Below are just three examples of the new "old" arrivals! 😍
