War Child Christmas Eve 2014 Appeal!

"Last Christmas Eve The Bear Garden had its first appeal in aid of War Child, the registered charity who work on the ground in some of the world’s most dangerous countries. We raised £1,137.57. This year we are doing it all again, but I would like to beat that total.

Like last year, Andrew has promised to donate 20% of whatever The Bear Garden takes in the shop and online on Christmas Eve to the appeal. And I have set up a new JustGiving page for those that would like to make a little donation. So if you fancy being a superstar then please check the page out via the link below.

Andrew and I realise that many people get asked to make donations all too often, so apologies for asking for your help with this. Maybe it is because so many of our teddy bears go to children or that Margarete Steiff’s doctrine was “only the best is good enough for our children”, but we are acutely aware of the ongoing appalling situation that some children find themselves in around the world. Especially at this time of year.

Any help you can give will be appreciated.

So it just remains for me to say thank you to everyone for your custom and support over this last year. I wish you all a Happy Christmas and all the very “bearst” for 2015!"

Hugs,
Mr C
