Max is a lovely little Terrier dog crafted from sparse white mohair fabric with light brown mohair ears and eye patch. He has small boot-button style eyes, a gorgeous hand-embroidered black nose with freckles and a soft plush paws with stitched claws! For the pawfect finishing touch, Max wears a dainty red collar, with golden buckle, around his neck.
Max is a one-of-a-kind design made especially for The Bear Garden.

Lynne Farmer has been making teddy bears since 1996. She originally trained as a graphic designer and for many years illustrated children's books, many of them stories about bears! Making under the name Jack & Lilia, she creates all of her bears and characters by hand. Each creation has glass eyes, cotter pin or thread joints and is filled with cotton/poly flock and weighted with steel shot. Lynne has always loved working with textiles and collecting vintage fabrics, buttons and trimmings. She often uses these when making her little creations.
