Syracuse is a gorgeous teddy bear crafted from soft and long multi-coloured plush fabric with pops of magenta, emerald, dark sapphire blue and golden yellow. His face and ears have been sculpted from warm honey coloured mohair and he features a gorgeous coordinating hand stitched nose and soft, dark pink paw pads. Syracuse is partially stuffed and weighted with poly-pellets to give him a heavier weighted feel and his sparkling eyes are hand painted and have delicate felt lids.

Syracuse is a one-of-a-kind design made especially for The Bear Garden.

Barbara-Ann Bears are made by talented husband and wife team of Barbara-Ann and Andy Cunningham in Scotland. They are known around the world for their creative, colourful and wacky designs! Barbara hand-dyes her own mohair and fabrics, and as nearly every bear is a one-of-a-kind creation, no two are ever the same! Andy has the painstaking task of embroidering the noses. This is done from many layers of co-ordinating, soft-cotton tapestry thread, which perfectly complement the bear's mohair.
