Dixie is a gorgeous dragon who has been crafted from a short pile emerald green-coloured mohair fabric with white tipping. She has kind, boot-button style eyes, a fluffy blue and green plush front, while her wings are made of felt and super soft forest green suedette fabric decorated with airbrushed line detailing. Dixie features two green beads for nostrils and wears a tiny silver pendant, engraved with the word "Wish", which hangs from a dainty ribbon tied into a bow at the back of her neck.

Dixie is a one-of-a-kind design made especially for The Bear Garden.

Lynne Farmer has been making teddy bears since 1996. She originally trained as a graphic designer and for many years illustrated children's books, many of them stories about bears! Making under the name Jack & Lilia, she creates all of her bears and characters by hand. Each creation has glass eyes, cotter pin or thread joints and is filled with cotton/poly flock and weighted with steel shot. Lynne has always loved working with textiles and collecting vintage fabrics, buttons and trimmings. She often uses these when making her little creations.
