Carys is a pretty rabbit made from a gorgeous light brown long pile plush fabric. She has beautifully crafted suedette footpads with intricate stitching detail, glass eyes that have been delicately airbrushed around the eyes to give a forlorn look and is part-filled with steel shot for a weighted feel. Carys has an adorable hand embroidered pink nose, wired ears and wears a pink silk ribbon around her neck and a headpiece of matching, pink floral buttons.

Carys is a one-of-a-kind rabbit and has been made especially for The Bear Garden.

Bear artist Jane Mogford is based in Staffordshire. She had been collecting bears long before she first tried her hand at making bears in 1997. One thing led to another and in 1998 Pipkin Bears was born.
