Hello Kitty was created by designer Yuko Shimizu in 1974, with the first product—a vinyl coin purse—being introduced in Japan in March 1975. During the 1990s, the brand found commercial success among teenage and adult consumers alike that has resulted in her becoming a well-loved Japanese icon for over 50 years!

Steiff's wonderful limited edition Hello Kitty has been crafted from the finest baby pink and white mohair fabrics. She features stitched whiskers and eyes, a yellow nose and wears a pretty pink bow on her head. She stands holding a magenta mohair heart and, with her unusual and delicate colour-way, will capture the heart of any Hello Kitty fan!

Hello Kitty is a limited edition of only 1,974 pieces and comes presented with a numbered certificate in a Steiff gift box with its original protective cardboard outer sleeve.
