2025 marks the 35th anniversary of Barbara-Ann Bears, lovingly made in Scotland, by Barbara and Andy! All of their wonderful creations certainly brighten up any space with their charming personalities, soulful eyes and bold colours - it's no wonder that they're so well-loved and popular!

Ruckleskunk is a fun little fella crafted from hand-dyed mohair in clashing crimson and lime green coloured mohair fabric that meet with black and cream splodgy mohair to create a very eye-catching character! A new design from Barbara, he is partially stuffed with poly-pellets to give him a slightly weighted feel and has super soft leopard print paw pads. Ruckleskunk also features hand-painted eyes, a hand stitched nose in complementary colours, pink spotted ears and a punky mane of hedgehog-like hair!

Ruckleskunk is a one-of-a-kind design made especially for The Bear Garden.

Barbara-Ann Bears are made by talented husband and wife team of Barbara-Ann and Andy Cunningham in Scotland. They are known around the world for their creative, colourful and wacky designs! Barbara hand-dyes her own mohair and fabrics, and as nearly every bear is a one-of-a-kind creation, no two are ever the same! Andy has the painstaking task of embroidering the noses. This is done from many layers of co-ordinating, soft-cotton tapestry thread, which perfectly complement the bear's mohair.
