Dougie is an adorable highland cow made from long and fluffy golden blonde and pale cinnamon coloured mohair fabrics. He has endearing black boot-button style eyes, a soft beige nose and gorgeous felt horns which have been delicately airbrushed! Dougie wears a copper jingle bell, which hangs from a delicate red ribbon, for the perfect finishing touch!

Dougie is a one-of-a-kind design made especially for The Bear Garden.

Lynne Farmer has been making teddy bears since 1996. She originally trained as a graphic designer and for many years illustrated children's books, many of them stories about bears! Making under the name Jack & Lilia, she creates all of her bears and characters by hand. Each creation has glass eyes, cotter pin or thread joints and is filled with cotton/poly flock and weighted with steel shot. Lynne has always loved working with textiles and collecting vintage fabrics, buttons and trimmings. She often uses these when making her little creations.
