Georgie is one of Lynne's adorable button-nose teddy bears which has been crafted from a sparse light blonde mohair with a pale cinnamon coloured backing fabric. He has boot-button style eyes, soft plush feet and inner ears and delicately airbrushed blushing cheeks. Georgie features a beige button with silver centre for his nose and wears a made to measure sky blue felt waistcoat with button fastening and a light brown coloured heart detail on the back.

Georgie is a one-of-a-kind design made especially for The Bear Garden.

Lynne Farmer has been making teddy bears since 1996. She originally trained as a graphic designer and for many years illustrated children's books, many of them stories about bears! Making under the name Jack & Lilia, she creates all of her bears and characters by hand. Each creation has glass eyes, cotter pin or thread joints and is filled with cotton/poly flock and weighted with steel shot. Lynne has always loved working with textiles and collecting vintage fabrics, buttons and trimmings. She often uses these when making her little creations.
