Mr Softy is a spectacular bear crafted from the finest, dense and huggable creamy-white faux fur plush fabric with cocoa brown tipping. He features a contrasting beige mohair inner ears and a muzzle which has been trimmed and sculpted to complement his intricately stitched and realistic embroidered dark brown nose. Mr Softy also has dark brown glass eyes with subtle airbrushing under them to add tonnes of personality, ultrasuede paws pads painted with polymer and then quilted and airbrushed to create a 3D effect, and is 8-way jointed! His head, arms and legs are all firmly stuffed with a mixture of wood wool and polyester and he features a tilt growler that works best when laying forward on his stomach!
Mr Softy is a one-of-a-kind creation which has been made especially for The Bear Garden and will be one of the very last few bears created by Bill & Jean before they retire in 2027!

- 8-way jointed (1 in each wrist, 2 in the neck and 1 attaching each limb to the body so can be posed in various natural positions)

Bear Bits is the name under which Jean & Bill Ashburner produce their award-winning artist bears in Ross-Shire. Jean gave up her job in 1993, followed by Bill in 1996. Their bears are known for being innovative yet realistic in design.
