Chirpy is an adorable Spring chick made from short buttery yellow coloured mohair fabric. She has boot-button style eyes which have been delicately airbrushed, soft plush feet and wispy mohair wings. Chirpy also has a cheerful sunny yellow wool felt beak and wears a daisy pendant around her neck which hangs from a dainty green ribbon.
Chirpy is a one-of-a-kind design made especially for The Bear Garden.

Lynne Farmer has been making teddy bears since 1996. She originally trained as a graphic designer and for many years illustrated children's books, many of them stories about bears! Making under the name Jack & Lilia, she creates all of her bears and characters by hand. Each creation has glass eyes, cotter pin or thread joints and is filled with cotton/poly flock and weighted with steel shot. Lynne has always loved working with textiles and collecting vintage fabrics, buttons and trimmings. She often uses these when making her little creations.
