Steiff have lovingly and masterfully recreated one of it's most famous bears - first created in memory of the victims of the Titanic sinking on April 14th 1912. Known as the 'Mourning Bear', he has been crafted from the finest curly black mohair fabric stitched with the original centre seam. He features black glass eyes lined with red felt, a light brown hand-stitched nose and paw pads made of cream coloured wool felt. This bear is stuffed with wood wool as it would've been when first made, has a growler and comes with the replica range's signature underscored button and white paper ear tag.
This 1912 Replica is limited to 912 pieces worldwide and comes with his numbered certificate in a Steiff gift box with its original protective cardboard outer sleeve.
