Hughes is a charming bear made from a soft creamy white plush, mottled with brown, and a lighter, caramel coloured face. He is part-pellet filled for a lovely weight, has a delightful hand embroidered nose and a hidden jingle bell within his head that gently chimes - making him known as a Tinkler bear! Hughes also features soft, beige suedette paw pads and wears a silky ruby red satin ribbon bow around his neck.
