Midge is a charming bear crafted from a dense and wavy ivory coloured mohair tipped with cherry and aubergine tones. She is partially stuffed with poly-pellets to give her a slightly weighted feel and has white felt paw pads. Midge also features enchanting glass eyes that are hand-painted and decorated with delicate dark peach felt lids, which have been subtly airbrushed, and a hand stitched nose in matching complementary colours that sits on her pale apricot coloured muzzle.
Midge is a one-of-a-kind design made especially for The Bear Garden.

Barbara-Ann Bears are made by talented husband and wife team of Barbara-Ann and Andy Cunningham in Scotland. They are known around the world for their creative, colourful and wacky designs! Barbara hand-dyes her own mohair and fabrics, and as nearly every bear is a one-of-a-kind creation, no two are ever the same! Andy has the painstaking task of embroidering the noses. This is done from many layers of co-ordinating, soft-cotton tapestry thread, which perfectly complement the bear's mohair.
