Garlieston, named after a small coastal village in Scotland, is a gentle soul crafted from a dense and fluffy silver-grey mohair fabric. He is partially stuffed with poly-pellets to give him a slightly weighted feel and has wonderful light brown and white felt paw pads. Garlieston also features sparkling glass eyes that are hand-painted and decorated with delicate felt lids and a hand stitched subtly striped nose, in complementary colours, which sits on his shaved muzzle.

Garlieston is a one-of-a-kind design made especially for The Bear Garden.

Barbara-Ann Bears are made by talented husband and wife team of Barbara-Ann and Andy Cunningham in Scotland. They are known around the world for their creative, colourful and wacky designs! Barbara hand-dyes her own mohair and fabrics, and as nearly every bear is a one-of-a-kind creation, no two are ever the same! Andy has the painstaking task of embroidering the noses. This is done from many layers of co-ordinating, soft-cotton tapestry thread, which perfectly complement the bear's mohair.
