Alvin Starburst is rather sweet! This incredibly eye catching bear is crafted from a combination of long and wild yellow and ruby red mohair and fluffy red, yellow and orange plush for his belly. He is partially stuffed with poly-pellets to give him a weighted feel and has liquorice printed fabric foot pads - as well as Starburst printed fabric for his arms, leg and face, hence his namesake! Alvin also features tufty red ears and soulful eyes that are hand-painted and decorated delicate felt lids to match his fabric and fabulous hand stitched nose.

Barbara-Ann Bears are made by talented husband and wife team of Barbara-Ann and Andy Cunningham in Scotland. They are known around the world for their creative, colourful and wacky designs! Barbara hand-dyes her own mohair and fabrics, and as nearly every bear is a one-of-a-kind creation, no two are ever the same! Andy has the painstaking task of embroidering the noses. This is done from many layers of co-ordinating, soft-cotton tapestry thread, which perfectly complement the bear's mohair.
