William E. Bear has been commissioned by The Boeing Company to celebrate 100 years of innovation and adventure. Founded in the summer of 1916 by William Edward Boeing, today The Boeing Company is the world's largest aerospace company. This delightful bear is made from pale blond mohair and wears a pilot's outfit in the style of the era, as well as William's characteristic round spectacles. He carries with him a printed canvas mail sack with postcards and a parcel. He has flat feet enabling him to stand unaided and he has a growler.

William E. Bear is limited to 1500 pieces and comes with his numbered certificate in a Steiff gift box with its original protective cardboard outer sleeve.
