William Shakespeare's Ophelia is a beautiful young Danish noblewoman in his tragic play Hamlet. Ophelia is in love with Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark, and she is driven mad when he murders her father, Polonius. She tragically drowns when she falls into a lake, after becoming distraught from her grief. The French Composer Ambroise Thomas wrote a grand opera Hamlet with five dramatic acts in 1868.
Ophelia is made from from a beautiful mix of lilac alpaca and mohair. Her delicate jewellery embellishments are all individually made by hand making each piece unique. She also wears an pretty lace collar around her neck and she has a sweet hand embroidered nose and endearing eyes.
She is limited to 300 pieces and comes in a complementary Isabelle Collection branded cotton bag.
