Catalogue number: CB195173

Oona the unicorn has been created from gorgeous winter-white plush and she has a fabulous long honey-toned, cream-coloured mane and tail along with an embroidered and sculpted horn.

Oona is part-pellet filled, wears a golden cord necklace and has soft suedette hooves. She is part of 'The Queen's Beasts Collection' by Charlie Bears that celebrates the ten creatures that guard the entrance to Westminster Abbey, where Her Majesty the Queen of England was crowned in 1953. After the coronation, they were moved to the Canadian Museum of History in Quebec. Each beast supports a shield bearing a coat of arms of a family associated Queen Elizabeth II and her ancestry.

Oona represents Scotland's national animal; the unicorn and celebrates Scotland's long history of myths and legends. It was first used on the Scottish royal coat of arms by William I in the 21st Century and is a symbol of purity and innocence.

Oona is part of an individually number edition of just 2,000 pieces.
