HM Queen Elizabeth II Celebration Teddy Bear by Merrythought - 30cm

Merrythought has created this limited edition teddy bear in celebration of the incredible life and service of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

This unique collectable bear is made using the finest creamy mohair, which has the faintest hint of pink. Her paws are soft cotton velvet, with one of her feet featuring embroidery in golden thread to indicate Her Majesty’s lifetime. She is finished with deep blue eyes and a hand-stitched smile, which give this bear an air of friendliness and integrity, synonymous with our former monarch.

Her outfit is inspired by Her Majesty’s favourite style of coat and hat, in the royal blue colour that she wore so often to public engagements. Her hat is accessorised with pretty organza flower detailing, co-ordinating perfectly with an elegant string pearl necklace. However, the real showpiece is the detailed replica of the Prince Albert brooch that she wears on her woollen coat. The original gold-set sapphire and diamond piece of jewellery was given to Queen Victoria by her husband-to-be, Prince Albert, and went on to become Elizabeth’s brooch of choice for many royal occasions.

This future heirloom, made in Merrythought's historic factory in Ironbridge, will forever mark the extraordinary commitment and length of service that Her Majesty gave to the United Kingdom and Commonwealth during her 70-year reign.

She is limited to 1926 pieces worldwide and is presented in a luxury Merrythought gift box with her certificate of authenticity.
