Merrythought have created this beautiful teddy bear couple to commemorate the Royal Wedding of HRH Prince Harry of Wales and Meghan Markle; the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, on 19th May 2018.
The bears have been handmade from the finest golden mohair and have beautiful ivory pure silk foot pads, one of which is embroidered with a royal crown and an initial to mark the couple’s first names - Harry and Meghan. Golden thread has been used to delicately embroider the stunning purple silk cushion that accompanies the two bears and they each wear a coordinating satin ribbon bow or ruff.
These charming teddy bears are limited to only 200 sets and are presented in a luxury black and gold box.
Merrythought was founded in 1930 by Mr W.G. Holmes. Today the company is run by his great-granddaughters and production is still based on the original site in Ironbridge, Shropshire.
