Harpo is a delightful teddy bear made from gorgeous lavender coloured extra long pile fabric. He has beautifully crafted suedette footpads with intricate stitching detail, which enable him to stand unaided. He has glass eyes and is part-filled with steel shot and has a sweet purple hand embroidered nose. Harpo wears a hand painted silk ribbon ruff and an enamelled jingle bell around his neck.

Bear artist Jane Mogford is based in Staffordshire. She had been collecting bears long before she first tried her hand at making bears in 1997. One thing led to another and in 1998 Pipkin Bears was born.
