Egbert Gruffle is a fabulous teddy bear made from a beautiful combination of long and soft rose toned grey and brown mohair and dusky rose striped faux fur. His face is sculpted from taupe coloured mohair and he has flashes of long wavy mohair on his tail. He is partially stuffed and weighted with poly-pellets to give him a slightly heavier weight. His endearing sparkling eyes are hand-painted and have delicate felt lids. Egbert's foot pads are made from tie-dyed velvet and he has a hand embroidered nose in coordinating coloured threads.
Egbert Gruffle is a one-of-a-kind design made especially for The Bear Garden.
Barbara-Ann Bears are made by talented husband and wife team of Barbara-Ann and Andy Cunningham in Kent, England. They are known around the world for their creative, colourful and wacky designs! Barbara hand-dyes her own mohair and fabrics, and as nearly every bear is a one-of-a-kind creation, no two are ever the same! Andy has the painstaking task of embroidering the noses. This is done from many layers of co-ordinating, soft-cotton tapestry thread, which perfectly complement the bear's mohair.
