Disney Christopher Robin Eeyore by Steiff - 36cm

Steiff

Catalogue number: 355738

Steiff's enchanting interpretation of Eeyore is inspired by Disney’s heartwarming live action film, Christopher Robin, which finds that the young boy who embarked on countless adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with his band of lovable stuffed animals has grown up and lost his way. It is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help him remember the loving and playful boy who is still inside. Now, Christopher Robin is stuck in a job where he is overworked, underpaid and facing an uncertain future. He has a family of his own, but he neglects his wife and daughter due to the demands of work. He has all but forgotten his idyllic childhood spent with his stuffed bear and his friends. But a chance reunion with Winnie the Pooh, now tattered from years of hugs and play, rekindles their friendship and reminds Christopher of the endless days of childlike wonder and make believe that defined his youth, when doing nothing was considered the very best something. Following an unfortunate mishap with Christopher Robin’s briefcase, Pooh and the rest of the gang including Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger, step out of the wood and venture into London to help their long-lost friend, Christopher Robin on the adventure of a lifetime!

Crafted from the finest pale grey, black and white mohair and felt, this adorable interpretation of Eeyore is the third piece from this movie series and follows on from the phenomenally popular versions of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.

Limited to only 2,000 pieces and presented in a Steiff gift box with his numbered certificate; Eeyore is the perfect keepsake for any fan of this gloomy donkey!
