2022 not only marks 120 years of the teddy bear, first developed in 1902 by Richard Steiff, but also Steiff founder Margarete Steiff's 175th birthday and 30 years of their prestigious Collector's Club. The jewel in the crown of this momentous year is their delightful British Collectors bear for 2022. Steiff has produced a special limited edition bear exclusively for the UK since 1989, which is Steiff's longest running limited edition series in the world. This year's bear is made from the finest warm caramel tipped curly mohair and he has a traditional tilt growler. He wears a smart double cream and dark copper coloured satin ribbon bow and has a beautifully embroidered brown nose and mouth. This charming bear would make the perfect addition to any collection and for any occasion!
This bear is limited to 2,000 pieces made exclusively for the UK. He comes with his numbered certificate in a Steiff gift box with its original protective cardboard outer sleeve.
