Alice's Bear Shop Woodroffe by Charlie Bears - 35.5cm

Charlie Bears

Catalogue number: ABS186001

Charlie Bears and author of the Alice's Bear Shop stories; Rikey Austin have created a magical collection of the book characters that Rikey first wrote about over 20 years ago. Rikey's books tell the stories of these characters and how they made their way to Alice's Bear Shop.

Woodroffe was the first bear that Alice and her Mum repaired, which led to the opening of Alice's Bear Shop and Hospital For Poorly Bears, so this handsome old bear was really the beginning of the Alice's Bear Shop story.

Charlie Bears' Woodroffe is a delightful teddy bear made from dense light brown plush and he has large stitched feet. His muzzle is carefully shaved to show the darker backing fabric and he has a hand embroidered nose and large boot button eyes. He wears a smart burgundy waistcoat and has a gentle tilt growler.
