Steve is a whimsical bear crafted from sparse dark brown and cream coloured mohair fabrics, which have been given an aged effect to make him look well loved. He has been filled with a little steel shot to give him a lovely heavy weight and features chocolate brown felt paws and enchanting glass eyes. Steve wears a brown felt jester hat on his head, that has been decorated with cream pompoms, and a delicately airbrushed cream-coloured ruff around his neck.
Steve is a one-of-a-kind bear created especially for The Bear Garden.

Anja Meier is a German teddy bear artist who began making bears as a hobby in 1992. Her fascination with creating her antique-inspired bears and animals lead to her making bears full-time in 2001 under the brand name of Anna Dazumal.
