Larry is a handsome traditional style teddy bear made from dark honey blond coloured sparse mohair. He has delightful amber eyes and his paws are made from thick wool felt with stitched claws. Frank has given him a beautifully hand embroidered nose with a light waxing effect. Larry is filled with polyester and some plastic pellets, which gives him a lovely weight. He wears a charming vintage fabric bow and a personalised name pendant on a cord around his neck.
Larry is a one-of-a-kind design and made especially for The Bear Garden.

Frank Webster has been making artist bears since 1988. His bear-making career was born out of repairing old bears in the antiques business. In 1992 he devoted himself fulltime to bear making. Frank has designed bears for a number of different companies and his bears are noted, not only for their quality, but also for their warmth of character. This is borne from his belief that bears were traditionally made to be a lifelong friend rather than purely a collector’s item.
